Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Agriculture or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive agricultural experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/management role.
• Strong knowledge of crop production, soil management, pest and disease control specific to Gauteng.
• Excellent leadership, planning, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in farm management software and standard office applications.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to work on-site near Randburg.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive farm management plans including crop rotation, planting, and harvesting schedules.
• Supervise and manage all farm personnel with guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee procurement and use of farm inputs, machinery, and equipment.
• Ensure crop health and quality through proper cultivation, pest/disease control, and irrigation management.
• Maintain records of production, expenses, and inventory; monitor safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with management on budgeting and financial performance reviews.
