Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Family Support Services Coordinator to join our client's team in Centurion, Gauteng. The role focuses on coordinating family support services, connecting families with resources, and advocating for their needs to improve wellbeing.

You will assess family needs, develop tailored plans, and collaborate with local service providers. A relevant degree and 3+ years' experience are required, with a valid driver's license for Gauteng visits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• At least 3 years' experience working with families in support/case management.
• Knowledge of child protection laws and South African welfare systems.
• Excellent communication, listening and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Driver's license and own vehicle for Gauteng visits.

Responsibilities

• Assess family needs and develop tailored support plans.
• Coordinate access to services such as counseling and housing assistance.
• Provide emotional support and crisis intervention.
• Facilitate workshops for parents and caregivers.
• Maintain confidential client records and program documentation.
• Collaborate with service providers and community organizations in Centurion.
• Advocate for families to access appropriate services.
• Monitor client progress and evaluate interventions.
