Placements24 seeks a Senior Social Worker specializing in Family Support in Centurion, Gauteng. You will lead high-level casework, counseling, and support services for families facing socioeconomic and child welfare challenges.

You will conduct psychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide crisis intervention, while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with schools, healthcare, and legal professionals to ensure holistic care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) as a Social Worker.
• Minimum of 7 years of post-graduate experience in social work, with a specialization in family therapy, child welfare, or counseling.
• Proficiency in psychosocial assessments and treatment planning.
• Knowledge of legislation pertaining to child protection and family welfare in South Africa.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of family needs, identifying strengths and risks.
• Provide direct therapeutic interventions and case management to families, couples, and individuals.
• Develop and implement individualized service plans with clients.
• Offer crisis intervention and support during challenging family situations.
