Placements24 seeks a versatile Facilities Maintenance Technician to support upkeep and functionality of the Nelspruit premises. This role combines on-site duties with remote administrative tasks, contributing to a safe, clean, and productive environment for all occupants.

You will perform routine cleaning, basic repairs, and assist with groundskeeping, ensuring building systems and safety regulations are met while prioritising tasks effectively in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks across disciplines.
• Understanding of building systems and safety regulations.
• Willingness to hybrid work with on-site duties and remote reporting in Nelspruit.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning throughout the facility including restrooms.
• Conduct basic maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
• Ensure equipment and tools are maintained and stored safely.
• Monitor building and grounds for hazards or needed attention.
• Assist with groundskeeping and exterior upkeep as needed.
