Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Welkom. You will perform hands-on upkeep, repair, and installation of critical machinery and infrastructure to ensure minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.

The role requires interpreting data from remote diagnostics and collaborating with digital monitoring systems to optimize facility operations while adhering to safety standards and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

Proven hands-on maintenance experience in industrial settings.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Familiarity with remote monitoring data is a plus.
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and emergency maintenance on industrial machinery and facility equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Conduct preventative maintenance schedules to ensure equipment longevity and reliability.
Install new equipment and assist with system upgrades as needed.
Interpret diagnostic reports and data provided by remote monitoring systems.
Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance activities, parts used, and issues encountered.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
