Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Facilities Maintenance Cleaner to ensure a safe, hygienic workplace at their Mahikeng premises. You will perform cleaning duties, assist with minor maintenance, and uphold high standards of cleanliness for staff and visitors.

The role requires hands-on experience with cleaning chemicals and equipment, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Proven cleaning and facilities maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, materials and equipment.
• Basic handyperson skills for minor repairs.

• Physical stamina for demanding tasks in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of offices, restrooms and common areas.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment (vacuum, scrubbers, pressure washers).
• Manage waste disposal and recycling per protocols.
• Do minor repairs and maintenance (bulbs, fittings).
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies; report issues to facilities manager.
