Placements24 seeks a versatile Facilities Maintenance Technician to support upkeep and functionality of the Nelspruit premises. This role combines on-site duties with remote administrative tasks, contributing to a safe, clean, and productive environment for all occupants.

You will perform routine cleaning, basic repairs, and assist with groundskeeping, ensuring building systems and safety regulations are met while prioritising tasks effectively in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related trade.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning throughout the facility including restrooms.
• Conduct basic maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).

• Monitor building and grounds for hazards or needed attention.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and functionality of their premises in Nelspruit . This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including general cleaning, minor repairs, and ensuring that the facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained. While this position is primarily on-site, certain administrative tasks or reporting may be conducted remotely, offering a hybrid work dynamic. You will be instrumental in creating and sustaining a positive and productive environment for all occupants.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including restrooms, common areas, and workspaces.
• Conduct basic maintenance and repairs, such as fixing minor plumbing issues, electrical faults, and carpentry needs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.
• Ensure all equipment and tools are maintained in good working order and stored safely.
