Job summary

Headhunters (South Africa) is seeking a Facilities Stock and Procurement Controller to manage stock, procurement, and related administrative duties from our Port Alfred offices.

You will maintain stock records, prepare purchase orders, liaise with suppliers, and support budget monitoring while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with health and safety policies. The role requires strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
• Minimum 3 years’ administrative and stock control experience.
• Experience in inventory, stores management and workflow management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide admin support while maintaining stock records and inventory control.
• Maintain departmental records, reports, filing and administrative documentation.
• Coordinate procurement documentation, including obtaining quotations and prepare purchase orders, and monitoring deliveries.
• Receive, issue and monitor stock, and assist with scheduled stock counts and inventory reconciliations.
• Assist with budget monitoring by capturing and reconciling expenditure and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Liaise with suppliers and service providers to support the efficient operation of the department.
• Support compliance with organisational policies, health and safety requirements, and administrative procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of organisational information and documents.
