Qualifications

• Strong Food & Beverage management experience.

• Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage, Front Office and Housekeeping operations.
• Experience with Meetings & Events advantageous.
• Ability to work flexibly and under pressure.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Food & Beverage operations to maximise revenue and minimise costs.
• Manage and coordinate departmental heads and operational teams.
• Monitor departmental costs and take corrective action where required.
• Assist with business planning, budgets and revenue strategies.
• Oversee guest service and ensure high standards are maintained.
• Coordinate Meetings & Events and in-house activities.
• Work with the Executive Chef on menus, recipes, costing and F&B development.
• Monitor purchasing and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Manage staff performance, training, development and employee relations.
• Conduct regular property inspections and follow up on maintenance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, health and safety policies.
• Attend to guest requests, enquiries and operational challenges.
• Complete Manager on Duty shifts as required.
• Assume responsibility for the overall operation in the absence of the General Manager.
