Job summary

MEININGER Hotel Köln West is seeking a part-time F&B Allrounder to help with breakfast, dining, and bar operations. You will ensure guests are welcomed and looked after, while maintaining quality and hygiene standards in a lively hospitality setting.

The role offers a flexible schedule (24 or 30 hours per week) and an opportunity to gain experience in a vibrant international hotel environment in Germany. You should be motivated, team-oriented, and ready to support colleagues as needed.

Responsibilities

• You help create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere in our breakfast, dining, and bar areas, ensuring guests feel well looked after throughout their visit.
• You support the preparation, presentation, replenishment, and clearing of food and beverage offerings while maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
• You ensure that food items are displayed and labeled correctly in accordance with hygiene and HACCP regulations.
• You prepare and serve hot and cold beverages following established recipes and operational guidelines.
• You assist with the preparation of lunch packages and group catering arrangements, ensuring orders are delivered accurately and on time.
• You contribute to efficient daily operations by monitoring stock levels and helping to maintain a well‑organized work environment.
• You uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in all service and preparation areas while following company procedures and safety requirements.

YOUR TASKS

YOUR PROFILE

• You enjoy working with people and take pride in creating a positive experience for guests.


• You are reliable, organized, and able to maintain a structured approach, even during busy periods. Ideally, you have gained initial experience in hospitality, food service, catering, retail, or a customer‑facing environment.


• You enjoy working as part of a team and are happy to support colleagues whenever needed.


• You appreciate variety in your workday and are open to different tasks and responsibilities within the F&B operation.


• You bring a hands‑on attitude, a willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to your work.


• You are flexible regarding shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.


• You hold an EU/EEA passport or possess a valid work permit allowing you to work in Germany.
