Job summary

MEININGER Hotel Köln West GmbH in Germany is seeking a Receptionist (f/m/d) to welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and ensure a memorable stay. You will work as part of a busy team in a dynamic hotel environment.

Fluency in German and English is required, additional languages are a plus; previous hotel or HORECA experience is valued. The role offers varied shifts including day, evening and night, with opportunities for growth within an international group.

Qualifications

• You have your first working experience in the hotel, or you are passionate about HORECA industries.
• Outgoing personality and enjoy working in a bustling dynamic environment.
• Speak German and English fluently (A2-B1 min.), any other languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• You act as a great host and create a memorable stay for our guests
• You are in charge of the welcome and goodbye process from A to Z, managing check-ins and check-outs to create best experience for our guests and optimize hotel occupancy
• You respond to our guests' personal and phone inquiries and provide advice regarding local attractions, activities and additional services
• You take care of operational and administrative tasks: invoicing, hour registration, online reputation management, quality checks etc.
• You work in a team and are ready to take on occasional tasks in the F&B area (breakfast, dinner, bar)
• You enjoy a diverse working environment and are flexible to work weekdays, weekends, day-, evening- and night shifts
