Job summary

Primeserv Denverdraft is seeking an Export Logistics Officer to coordinate all export shipments for our food client. The role focuses on timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods to international customers, leveraging strong freight forwarding experience and knowledge of trade regulations.

You will manage export documentation, arrange bookings with shipping lines and forwarders, coordinate with brokers and customers, and monitor shipments to resolve issues and control costs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
• 3–5 years of export logistics and freight forwarding experience.
• Experience handling sea export shipments.
• Experience working with customers, brokers, shipping lines and forwarders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export shipments from origin to destination.
• Plan and schedule shipments according to customer delivery requirements and stock availability.
• Arrange bookings with shipping lines, airlines, and freight forwarders.
• Prepare and review export documentation including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, and Certificates of Origin/EUR1/FT-COO.
• Ensure compliance with customs and international trade regulations.
• Track shipments and provide status updates to customers and management.
• Resolve shipment and customs clearance issues.
• Monitor logistics costs and verify freight/forwarding invoices.

Export Logistics Officer required to coordinate and manage all export shipment activities for our reputable food client. We require a tertiary diploma, 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role with strong freight forwarding experience, knowledge of international trade regulations, shipping documentation, customs procedures and coordination with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters and customers. Purpose of the Role: The Export Logistics Officer is responsible for coordinating and managing all export shipment activities to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods to international customers. The role requires strong freight forwarding experience, knowledge of international trade regulations, shipping documentation, customs procedures and coordination with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters and customers. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate export shipments from origin to destination.
• Plan and schedule shipments according to customer delivery requirements and stock availability.
• Arrange bookings with shipping lines, airlines, and freight forwarders.
• Prepare and review export documentation including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin/EUR1/FT-COO, Phytosanitary Certificate, Export Permits, Customs Declarations and Insurance Documents.
• Ensure compliance with customs and international trade regulations.
• Track shipments and provide status updates to customers and management.
• Resolve shipment and customs clearance issues.
• Monitor logistics costs and verify freight/forwarding invoices.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics / Supply Chain / International Trade / Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in export logistics and freight forwarding.
• Experience managing sea export shipments.
• Experience working with customers brokers, shipping lines and freight forwarding companies.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures and Incoterms 2020.
• Export documentation and customs clearance expertise.
• ERP and freight management systems proficiency.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, planning and problem-solving skills.
