Job summary

Humankind Group is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage the efficient execution of customer orders from our Wellington site. You will coordinate transport, export documentation, and liaise with warehouses, suppliers and service providers to ensure timely delivery and accurate records.

The role requires relevant tertiary qualification in logistics or related fields, plus extensive experience in logistics administration and order management systems.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• 12 years' experience in logistics administration, export coordination or supply chain operations.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with logistics/order management systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and communicate with stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solving and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer logistics activities to ensure efficient execution of customer orders.
• Manage all logistics administration relating to customer orders.
• Book and coordinate transport to ensure timely collection and delivery.
• Coordinate export and border documentation and maintain records.
• Liaise with warehouses, suppliers, customers and service providers on order status.
• Provide regular logistics updates to stakeholders.
• Support the Commodities team with logistics planning and execution.
