Placements24 is seeking an Exploration Geologist for our Bloemfontein, Free State team. You will interpret seismic data, develop geological models, and contribute to basin analyses to identify hydrocarbon prospects.

You will collaborate with geophysicists and engineers to evaluate targets and present findings to leadership. The role requires 5+ years in exploration geology, proficiency with Petrel/Kingdom Suite, and a strong grounding in geology and petroleum systems.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Earth Sciences; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of exploration geology experience with seismic interpretation focus.
• Proficiency in Petrel/Kingdom Suite and other geological software.
• Strong knowledge of structural geology, stratigraphy, and sedimentology.
