• Experience with budget management and financial tracking.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute a diverse range of sports events including local tournaments, championships, and community sports days.
• Coordinate all logistical aspects of events including venue selection, setup, equipment, staffing, and catering.
• Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
• Develop event timelines and work plans ensuring deadlines are met.
• Liaise with participants, teams, officials, volunteers, and sponsors for clear communication and smooth operations.
• Develop and implement marketing plans to maximize attendance and participation.
• Oversee on-site event management, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a positive attendee experience.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service quality.
• Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and prepare detailed reports for future planning.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations for venues.
