Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef in high-volume catering or large-scale kitchens.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Cost control, inventory management, and procurement knowledge.
• Food safety standards and HACCP understanding.
• Creative flair for menu development and trend awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in planning, preparing, and executing menus for diverse catering events.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Manage and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team.
• Control food costs, manage inventory, and ensure efficient stock rotation and purchasing.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation across all dishes.
• Collaborate with the catering management team to ensure seamless event execution.
• Implement and enforce HACCP and sanitation protocols.
• Participate in menu tastings and client consultations as needed.
