Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, or related field.
• Registered with SACSSP as a Social Worker.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in social work, with at least 4 years in a management/leadership role.
• Proven track record in program design, implementation, and evaluation.
• Strong community engagement, stakeholder management, and advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of social workers and community development practitioners.
• Develop and implement strategic plans and programs to address key social challenges within targeted communities.
• Oversee budget and resource allocation for community development projects.
• Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies, NGOs, and community leaders.
• Ensure ethical delivery of social work services in line with regulations.
• Conduct needs assessments and impact evaluations for community programs.
• Represent the organization at community forums and meetings.
• Drive advocacy efforts on behalf of the communities served.
• Monitor team performance and provide development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
