Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic Commercial Property Developer in Vereeniging to lead mixed-use development projects from concept to completion, ensuring profitability and alignment with market demands. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial property development.
• Strong understanding of real estate finance, market analysis, and development economics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience managing complex projects and diverse stakeholder groups in Gauteng.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate zoning laws and municipal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and secure new commercial and mixed-use development opportunities in target markets.
• Lead feasibility studies, financial modeling, and due diligence for potential projects.
• Manage all aspects of the development process, including land acquisition, zoning, permitting, design, and construction oversight.
• Secure project financing and manage investor relations.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
