• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within hotel housekeeping or a similar hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, including cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to train, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
• Good understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Proficiency in inventory management and basic administrative tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required in Stellenbosch.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient room cleaning and public area maintenance.
• Develop and implement detailed cleaning schedules and procedures to meet the high standards of the establishment.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety.
• Train, motivate, and manage housekeeping staff, providing constructive feedback and performance evaluations.
• Manage inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities, ensuring adequate stock levels and efficient usage.
• Ensure all staff adhere to hygiene, health, and safety regulations, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Handle guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Oversee the deep cleaning program and special projects to maintain the property's pristine condition.
• Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, inventory, and quality control checks.
