Placements24 is seeking a Lead Hygiene Supervisor in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, to oversee sanitation standards across luxury establishments. You will lead a cleaning team, implement hygiene protocols and conduct inspections to ensure exceptional cleanliness and guest safety.

Qualificações

• Minimum 4 years in a supervisory role within hospitality or facilities management.
• Experience developing and implementing hygiene management systems.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning chemicals and infection control practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Certification in Food Safety or Health and Safety is advantageous.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily hygiene and cleaning operations.
• Develop, implement and enforce cleaning and sanitation schedules.
• Conduct regular quality inspections across hotel areas.
• Train and mentor cleaning staff on techniques, safety and customer service.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment and chemicals.
• Coordinate cleaning services with other departments.
• Maintain records of activities, staff performance and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulations.
• Respond promptly to hygiene-related issues or guest complaints.
