Placements24 is seeking an innovative and experienced Food & Beverage Director to lead culinary and beverage operations in Vereeniging. This pivotal role oversees menu development, quality control, staff leadership and financial performance, delivering exceptional dining experiences that align with the brand and drive profitability.

You will manage multiple F&B outlets, drive cost control, comply with health and safety standards, and collaborate with marketing on promotions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage management within the hospitality industry.
• Proven track record of managing multiple F&B outlets and driving profitability.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of culinary trends, wine and spirits, and mixology.
• Experience with P&L management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative and profitable menus for all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, and banqueting.
• Manage day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
• Oversee inventory management, cost control, and budget adherence for the F&B department.
• Lead, train, and motivate the F&B team, fostering a culture of excellence and guest focus.
• Ensure compliance with all health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on promotions and special events to drive F&B revenue.
