wine.co.za in Paarl, Western Cape, seeks an experienced Events & Venue Manager to own a growing events division at a premium hospitality destination. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role that drives from enquiry to hosting and managing the event on the day.

You will manage the full event journey, prepare quotations, contracts, inspect sites, host events, manage revenue and budgets, and build relationships with planners, suppliers and corporate clients to fuel growth.

Qualifications

• Proven venue or hospitality events experience.
• Strong on-the-day coordination and hosting skills.
• Excellent organisational and administrative ability.
• Commercial acumen with budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Sales and business development experience preferred.
• Established industry relationships would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full event journey from enquiry to execution.
• Prepare quotations, contracts, function sheets and invoicing.
• Conduct client and industry site inspections.
• Host and coordinate events on the day.
• Manage event revenue, budgets and forecasts.
