The candidate will cultivate donors and sponsors, manage logistics, and work with marketing to create engaging promotional materials. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required, and a passion for conservation is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in event planning and fundraising.
• Experience with donor relations and sponsorship cultivation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software; Raiser's Edge desirable.

Aufgaben

• Conceptualize and plan fundraising events (galas, auctions, walks, community gatherings) in and around Sandton.
• Coordinate venues, vendors, budgeting, scheduling and on-site management.
• Develop fundraising strategies and set targets to achieve them.
• Identify and solicit sponsorships from corporations and individuals.
• Maintain donor databases and record contributions accurately.
• Execute post-event communications to thank donors and report outcomes.
• Collaborate with marketing/communications to promote events and create promos.
• Recruit, train and manage event volunteers; ensure a positive experience.
• Analyze event data and report on successes, challenges, and recommendations.
