Placements24 is assisting a charitable foundation in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, to find a results-driven Fundraising Specialist. The role centers on developing innovative fundraising strategies, cultivating donor relationships, and coordinating grant applications to support conservation projects.

You will work closely with program staff to articulate impact, manage donor communications, and ensure compliant fundraising practices while contributing to the foundation's mission in the Eastern

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in fundraising, development, or a similar role within the non-profit sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong proposal writing capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans to meet organizational financial goals.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations.
• Write compelling grant proposals and reports for various funding bodies.
• Organize and manage fundraising events, campaigns, and appeals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in the CRM database.
• Research potential funding sources and stay informed about fundraising trends.
• Collaborate with program staff to understand project needs and communicate impact to donors.
• Develop engaging donor communication materials, including newsletters and impact reports.
• Analyze fundraising data to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform future strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all fundraising regulations and ethical standards.
