Job summary

Ozow is seeking a senior Merchant Solutions leader in Cape Town to define how we engage our merchant base, prioritise solution delivery, and drive revenue growth. You will partner with Product, Engineering and Sales to translate merchant needs into scalable, commercial offerings and manage strategic banking partnerships to unlock value for merchants.

The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, executive presence and a track record of selling complex solutions to large merchants.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in payments, fintech or enterprise tech across solutions, commercial or partnerships roles.
Proven track record designing and selling solutions to large or complex merchants.
Experience building and managing bank, platform or partner relationships for commercial outcomes.
Commercial and technical fluency to structure and price deals with product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Own Ozow's merchant strategy, shaping engagement with existing and prospective merchants.
Translate merchant needs into clear commercial and technical solutions from engagement to delivery.
Build and manage bank, infrastructure and partner relationships to enable commercial deals.
Grow revenue and retention across new and existing merchants, driving enterprise engagement.
Lead the solutions function, aligning with Sales, Product and Engineering and driving OKRs.
