Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive top-of-funnel activity across South Africa. You will research ideal accounts, identify decision makers, and craft personalized outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone to book discovery calls for Account Executives.

You will use tools like Salesforce/SalesLoft and LinkedIn Navigator to build and manage your pipeline, maintaining high-quality outreach while hitting volume targets.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
