Placements24 in Midrand, Gauteng, is seeking a Technical Recruiter focused on Engineering to source and place engineers across manufacturing, construction, and automotive sectors. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle in a hybrid office/remote setup.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in technical recruitment for engineering, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, HR, Business or related field.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in technical recruitment, with a focus on engineering fields.
• Solid understanding of engineering disciplines and related technical skills.
• Proficiency in using recruitment tools, databases and social media for sourcing.
• Excellent interviewing, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple, complex requisitions simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, HR, Business or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements for engineering roles (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Process).
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified engineering candidates.
• Conduct in-depth technical screening and behavioural interviews.
• Build and maintain a network of engineering professionals.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.
• Provide clients with market intelligence and salary benchmarks.
