Job summary

Placements24 in Welkom is seeking a specialized Recruitment Consultant focusing on the Engineering sector. This hybrid role combines remote flexibility with in-office collaboration to connect exceptional engineering talent with leading companies.

You will manage client relationships, source candidates, and guide them through the recruitment process from initial contact to offer negotiation, while staying informed about trends in the engineering job market.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, preferably with engineering specialization.
• Solid understanding of engineering disciplines and technical requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit qualified candidates for engineering positions (mechanical, civil, electrical, chemical).
• Develop relationships with engineering clients and understand their technical requirements.
• Conduct effective candidate assessments, technical screenings and behavioral interviews.
• Manage the recruitment process end-to-end from initial contact to offer negotiation.
• Utilize recruitment tools and platforms to build talent pipelines.
• Stay informed about trends and developments in the engineering job market.
