The Weir Group, a global mining technology leader in Johannesburg, is seeking a CI Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives onsite in Alrode. You will drive Lean-driven process improvements, develop dashboards, and support cross-functional teams across the EMEA region.

Ideal candidates bring a industrial engineering degree and 3–5 years of CI experience, with strong data visualization skills using Power Platform and ERP systems knowledge (SAP a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years' experience leading continuous improvement programs.
• Strong capability in creating dashboards and interactive reports using Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute continuous improvement programs across the value chain.
• Manage and enhance adoption of the WINS framework in the EMEA region.
• Use data analysis to identify trends and deliver high-quality reports and presentations.
• Apply Lean tools daily to improve processes and support cross-functional teams.
• Achieve measurable improvements in efficiency and cost management.
• Occasional travel within the EMEA region as needed.
• Support a zero-harm safety culture.
