Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking an Engine Workshop/Field Service Technician - Apprentice in Lephalale, Limpopo. You will support workshop operations, learn repair techniques, and document work while traveling as required.

Ideal candidates possess a National Senior Certificate and N6/N2/N3 engineering studies certificates, with a valid driver’s licence and a willingness to develop skills through the apprenticeship program.

Qualifications

• National Senior Certificate (Matric) with Mathematics and Physical Science.
• N6 Mechanical Engineering certificate with four subjects passed.
• N2/N3 Engineering studies certificate with required subjects.

Responsibilities

• Support Workshop Operations and assist with general workshop activities.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and safe work environment in the workshop.
• Learn standard repair techniques and assist with basic repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with documentation such as work completed forms and time sheets.
• Complete training aligned with skill and business requirements.
• Care for tools and equipment, ensuring readiness for use.
• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental policies and report issues.
