Placements24 is seeking a Specialist Recruiter focused on Energy & Resources to be based in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will identify and attract top professionals for mining, oil & gas, and renewables, building robust talent pipelines to support client needs.

The role requires sector knowledge, strong sourcing strategies, and the ability to manage end-to-end recruitment in a hybrid setup, combining in-office collaboration with remote work in Richards Bay.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years recruitment experience, with Energy & Resources sector focus.
• Proven track record of filling specialized technical roles within the industry.
• In-depth knowledge of skills, qualifications, and certifications in Energy & Resources.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and place candidates for roles in Energy & Resources (mining, oil & gas, renewables).
• Develop sourcing strategies tailored to the energy/mining industries.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients in Energy & Resources.
• Assess candidate technical expertise, experience and cultural fit.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle end-to-end.
• Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and tech advancements in the sector.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance employer branding and outreach.
• Maintain knowledge of candidate availability and salary benchmarks in the sector.
