Placements24 is seeking a Technical Recruitment Specialist to join their Richards Bay team. You will manage the full recruitment cycle, sourcing and interviewing candidates for engineers, technicians and other technical roles across manufacturing, engineering and infrastructure sectors.

You will build relationships with hiring managers, use diverse sourcing methods, assess technical skills and culture fit, and guide offers through to acceptance in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in technical recruitment, focusing on industrial, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
• Proven ability to source and attract qualified technical candidates.
• Strong understanding of technical terminology and roles.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience using recruitment software and ATS.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview candidates for engineers, technicians, project managers, and skilled trades.
• Develop relationships with hiring managers to understand technical needs and team dynamics.
• Utilize diverse strategies (online databases, networks, direct sourcing) to identify suitable candidates.
• Assess candidates' technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Manage offer negotiation and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Maintain an up-to-date candidate database and recruitment pipeline.
