Job summary

TalentFuse (Pty) Ltd is seeking a hands-on Customer Order Coordinator to drive the full order lifecycle from receipt to delivery. You will capture orders in the ERP system, coordinate with Sales, Production, Warehouse and Logistics, and ensure commitments are met.

You are highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive, able to manage multiple orders in a busy manufacturing environment while maintaining excellent customer communication and building strong internal relationships.

Qualifications

Matric is essential and advantageous in a hands-on, small-business environment.
Experience in customer order processing, customer service, order management or supply chain coordination.
Proven experience with ERP or similar business systems.
Strong computer and administrative skills with excellent Excel abilities.
Experience in Manufacturing, Distribution, FMCG or Supply Chain is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Manage the full end-to-end customer order process from receipt through delivery.
Capture and process customer orders accurately on the ERP system.
Coordinate with Sales, Production, Warehouse and Logistics to meet timelines.
Check stock availability and identify potential shortages or delays.
Monitor production and dispatch schedules and follow up as required.
Track orders and deliveries to ensure complete and on-time receipt by customers.
Communicate with customers regarding order status, delivery dates and delays.
Handle returns, discrepancies and order-related queries efficiently.
Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
Manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously with accuracy.
Identify problems and drive actions through to resolution.
Take ownership of the customer experience and fulfil commitments.
