Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full end-to-end customer order process, from order receipt through to delivery.
- Capture and process customer orders accurately on the company's ERP system.
- Coordinate with Sales, Production, Warehouse and Logistics to ensure orders are fulfilled within required timelines.
- Check stock availability and proactively identify potential shortages or delays.
- Monitor production and dispatch schedules and follow up where required.
- Track orders and deliveries to ensure customers receive their goods complete and on time.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, delivery dates, delays and any potential challenges.
- Handle returns, discrepancies and order-related queries efficiently.
- Build strong working relationships with both customers and internal teams.
- Manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
- Identify problems, take action and see things through to resolution.
- Take ownership of the customer experience and ensure that commitments made to customers are followed through.

Ideally, you will come from a smaller organisation where you have been hands-on and closely involved in the business. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves, get stuck in and do a bit of everything to get the job done.
You will ideally be:
- Highly computer literate and comfortable working on business systems.
- Experienced with an ERP, MRP or similar order management system.
- Strong in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Accurate and detail-oriented, particularly when capturing and processing orders.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Confident communicating with customers and internal teams.
- A proactive problem solver who does not wait to be told what to do.
- Comfortable working closely with Production, Warehouse and Logistics.
- Customer-focused and committed to delivering on promises.
- Someone who is prepared to roll up their sleeves, get stuck in and make things happen
Experience & Requirements
- Matric is essential.
- Previous experience in customer order processing, customer service, order management or supply chain coordination.
- Proven experience working with an ERP or similar business system.
- Strong computer and administrative skills.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience within Manufacturing, Distribution, FMCG or Supply Chain will be advantageous.
- Experience working in a smaller, hands-on business environment will be highly advantageou
