Placements24 is assisting a Mossel Bay client in finding an experienced Employment Law Advisor to guide HR and management through South Africa's labor laws. The role focuses on contracts, disputes, terminations, and ensuring a legally compliant workplace.

The ideal candidate is an admitted attorney with 4+ years in employment law, able to advise across disciplines, train teams, and represent the company in disputes with a practical, business-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with focus on employment law and at least 4 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of Labour relations, contracts, and HR policies.
• Excellent communication and advisory capabilities with stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Advise on all aspects of employment law, including contracts, policies, disciplinary procedures, and dismissals.
• Assist in development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with legislation.
• Represent the company in CCMA and bargaining council disputes.
• Conduct investigations into employee grievances and misconduct allegations.

• Ability to provide practical and commercially sound legal solutions.
