Job summary

Mediclinic is seeking a clinician to attend emergency calls and provide basic medical care in line with the scope of practice. The role supports ER24 operations and requires readiness to respond to emergencies across the network.

Essential education is a Basic Ambulance Assistant Certificate, with 6 months to 1 year of road BLS experience; additional training on Clinical Practice Guidelines is advantageous. Proficiency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Essential education: Basic Ambulance Assistant Certificate.
• Desired education: training on Clinical Practice Guidelines (HPCSA) advantageous.
• Essential minimum experience: 6 months–1 year road BLS experience.
• Desired experience: 2 years road BLS experience.
• Proficiency in the English language (written and verbal).

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Basic Ambulance Assistant Certificate

Desired Education

Successful completion of training related to Clinical Practice Guidelines published by the Health Professions Council of South Africa will be advantageous. If not compliant with the clinical practice guidelines at the time of application you will be required to complete this training during your probation period if successful in your application.
