Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Email Marketing Coordinator to join the Stellenbosch-based marketing team. You will design, implement, and manage email campaigns that nurture leads, engage customers, and drive sales, in a hybrid work environment.

You will work with marketing and sales to craft compelling content, manage lists, and analyze performance metrics, while ensuring CAN-SPAM and GDPR compliance and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in email/digital marketing with hands-on platform experience.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email templates is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of CAN-SPAM and GDPR compliance.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute engaging email campaigns including newsletters and promotions.
• Design mobile-responsive email templates ensuring brand consistency.
• Manage and segment subscriber lists for targeted content.
• Monitor open, click, conversion and unsubscribe rates to optimize campaigns.
• Collaborate with content and design teams for copy and graphics.
