Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef or in a senior kitchen role within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
• Strong culinary skills with focus on quality food and presentation.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen and manage cost control.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef with the daily running of the kitchen and overall culinary operations.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking and presentation to ensure consistently high standards.
• Maintain exceptional food quality, hygiene and kitchen safety standards.
• Support menu planning, recipe development and introduction of new dishes.
• Supervise, train and motivate kitchen staff to ensure an efficient and productive team.
• Monitor stock levels, manage food costs and minimise wastage.
• Ensure the kitchen operates smoothly during busy service periods.
