Job summary

ATS Client in Sandton seeks an IT Technician to join its legal practice, providing hands-on IT support and maintenance for staff and systems. The role requires monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the firm’s IT infrastructure runs efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You will install and configure software, assist with hardware upgrades, manage backups, and maintain network security while supporting users and coordinating with developers and external service providers.

Qualifications

• Related IT qualification.
• At least 3 years in a Technical Support Environment; law firm experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365/SharePoint and desktop applications.
• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software and networks.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capable of working well under pressure.
• Developed interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and self-disciplined.
• Positive attitude and desire to assist.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support and assistance to staff.
• Monitor hardware, software issues and systems performance.
