Job summary

Datafin IT Recruitment is assisting a well-established attorneys’ firm in the Western Cape to hire an IT Technician to deliver reliable in-person and remote support across Cape Town and Stellenbosch. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, manage endpoints, and support Microsoft 365, AD, DNS/DHCP, and security processes.

Travel between offices is required; 2–4 years of corporate IT support experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years’ experience in a corporate IT support environment.
• Experience providing both in-person and remote user support.
• Strong Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 support experience.
• Experience with Windows Server, Hyper‑V and VMware.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS/DHCP and networking.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and printers.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software errors and document resolutions.
• Manage endpoint lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
• Support senior stakeholders, including directors and lawyers.
• Administer Active Directory, DNS and DHCP, and support Microsoft 365.
• Assist with IT asset management and vendor liaison.
• Participate in after-hours standby support when required.
