Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Electrical Field Service Engineer to travel to customer sites around Mahikeng to install, troubleshoot, and maintain complex electrical equipment. You will be the primary technical contact, delivering timely resolutions and high service quality.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years field experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities in industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain electrical equipment at customer locations.
• Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on operation and maintenance.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Document service activities, repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to relay feedback.
