Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to manage on-site installations and maintenance in Mahikeng and surrounding areas in the North West province. You will perform installations, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance, providing expert technical support to clients.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, can read manuals and schematics, and holds a valid driver's license for regional travel.

Qualifications

Proven experience as Field Service Engineer or similar in Installation & Maintenance.
Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
Able to read manuals, schematics and blueprints.
Valid driver's license for travel within Mahikeng region.
Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Perform professional installations of equipment and systems at client sites.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical or electronic faults.
Execute preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
Respond to service calls and urgent client requests within Mahikeng region.
Maintain service reports, inventory records, and client logs.
Provide technical guidance and basic user training to clients.
