Placements24 is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician specializing in Electrical Systems to join the team serving the Soweto area. This hands-on role involves diagnosing, repairing, and servicing electrical equipment on-site to ensure reliable operation for clients in Gauteng.

You will travel within the Soweto region and work directly with clients, documenting service reports. A technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related trade and at least 3 years of field experience are

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related trade.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various types of electrical systems and equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Soweto region.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement corrective actions efficiently and safely.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and company protocols during all field operations.
