Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of project engineering experience in renewables (solar, wind).
• Strong understanding of grid interconnection and power system integration for renewables.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration or eligibility is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage all electrical engineering aspects of renewable energy projects, including design review, procurement support, and construction oversight.
• Develop and review project electrical designs, single-line diagrams, protection schemes, and interconnection studies.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform site inspections and commissioning activities to verify system performance and identify potential issues.
