Qualifications

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology is required.
• 2–5 years’ experience as an electrical design technician or drafter.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or other electrical CAD software.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles, components and control systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and single-line diagrams using CAD software.
• Assist engineers in developing BOMs and specifications for components and equipment.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project specs, and codes.
• Maintain and organize the electrical drawing archive with version control.
• Support data collection, site visits, and technical queries related to electrical design.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure integrated designs.
