Placements24 in Stellenbosch, Western Cape is seeking an Electrical Design Drafter to produce electrical schematics, layouts, and documentation for a range of projects. You will translate design concepts into accurate drawings and collaborate with electrical engineers in a hybrid, office-and-remote-friendly environment.

The role requires a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, proven drafting experience, AutoCAD Electrical proficiency, and a strong attention to detail.

Qualificações

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with drafting focus.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Drafter with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and related CAD software.
• Solid understanding of electrical symbols, standards and terminology.
• Attention to detail and accuracy; strong teamwork in a hybrid Stellenbosch office.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, including single-line diagrams, panel layouts, wiring schedules, and schematics using CAD software.
• Ensure all drawings are produced accurately and efficiently, meeting project deadlines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to incorporate design changes and revisions into drawings.
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and ensure proper version control.
• Assist in the preparation of bill of materials (BOMs) based on design drawings.
• Support the engineering team with ad-hoc drafting tasks and documentation preparation.
