Work with Electrical Engineers to translate design requirements into precise drawings, maintain archives, and assist BOM preparation. Strong CAD skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Proven experience as an Electrical Draughtsperson.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD software.
Strong understanding of electrical symbols and engineering principles.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

Create detailed electrical drawings, including schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and site plans.
Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and client specifications.
Collaborate with electrical engineers to translate design requirements into precise drawings.
Update and revise existing drawings based on project changes or field feedback.
Manage drawing revisions and maintain an organized archive system.
Assist in preparing Bill of Materials (BOMs) based on design drawings.
