• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for commercial buildings, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and security systems.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and load calculations using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Ensure all designs comply with the National Building Regulations, SANS standards, and relevant electrical codes.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, and mechanical plans.
• Specify electrical equipment and materials, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Review submittals from electrical contractors during the construction phase.
• Respond to RFIs from construction teams.
• Assist with electrical system inspections and commissioning as needed.
