Qualifications

• National Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Draughting.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Drafter or CAD Technician.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical drawing packages.
• Understanding of electrical symbols, components and conventions.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD software.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and South African regulations.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to clarify design intent.
• Maintain and update drawing databases with version control.
• Assist in the preparation of BOMs.
• Support project team with drafting-related queries and revisions.
