Placements24 is seeking a qualified Educational Psychologist to support students, staff, and parents in Mossel Bay. The role focuses on addressing learning, behavioral, emotional, and social challenges through assessments, counseling, and intervention planning.

You will collaborate with teachers and families to promote student well-being and academic success within a supportive, hybrid work environment in the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Educational Psychology or related field.
• Registration with HPCSA as Educational Psychologist.
• Experience in assessments and interventions with children/adolescents.
• Strong knowledge of child development and psychopathology.
• Excellent communication and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments.
• Provide individual and group counseling.
• Develop and implement tailored intervention plans.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to school-wide mental health programs.
